Wedding Stationery Timeline

You’re engaged (congrats!), maybe you’ve picked a planner or even a location, and now your wondering about wedding stationery. I’ve put together a timeline to help you figure out when you should be planning, ordering and sending your invitations to guests.

First, you need to pick a date. All of the deadlines below are based on your wedding date.

6-12 months out: order and mail your save the dates. If you want custom stationery try to put in an order closer to 12 months out so that your designer has plenty of time to work on your stationery.

4-6 months - order invitations

2-4 months - mail your invites & order signage

1-2 months - send rehearsal dinner invites
